3 Days Sri Lanka Tour Package [Zinnia]

Day 1: Galle to Ella

Zinnia Tour starts from Galle. Our driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel in Galle or another nearby location. Then, we will start driving to Ella.

On the way to Ella, we will pass by several tourist attractions.

In Koggala, we will see stilt fishermen, who fish from stilts, which are wooden poles that are fixed in the sea. This is a traditional fishing method that is still used today for everyday fishing.

After seeing the stilt fishermen, we will visit Kushtarajagala in Weligama, where you can see ancient limestone carvings.

Next, we will drive to Udawalawa for a wildlife safari. Udawalawa is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see elephants.

After the evening safari, we will travel to Ravana Falls, a beautiful and historically important waterfall in Sri Lanka.

Finally, we will travel to see Ella Rock, Little Adam’s Peak, and the famous Nine Arches Bridge. These are some of the most popular tourist destinations in Ella. The Nine Arches Bridge is a railway bridge that connects two mountains. It starts after one tunnel and ends before another tunnel.

This is the end of the first day of the Zinnia 3-day tour. We will then proceed to the hotel in Ella, where you will stay overnight.

Day 2 : Ella to Nanuoya by Train and proceed to Kandy

After breakfast, our driver will drop you off at the Ella railway station. From there, you will take a train to Nanuoya.

On the train ride from Ella to Kandy, you will see many beautiful natural scenes along the railroad. If you travel in economy class, you can interact with the friendly locals who use the train for everyday transportation. And if you plan your trip at least a month in advance, you can book tickets for the observation compartment, which offers stunning views of the world-famous railroad.

Our driver will pick you up at the Nanuoya railway station and take you to Nuwara Eliya, known as Little England. During your city tour, you will see Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, the city markets, the Old English Post Office, and many other attractions.

Next, we will visit a tea plantation. Ceylon upcountry tea is one of the most famous teas in the world. You can experience plucking green tea leaves and learn about the tea-making process. The factory will also provide you with a free cup of delicious tea to taste.

After visiting the tea plantation, you will proceed to Ramboda Falls, a beautiful waterfall in Sri Lanka. You can climb to the top of the falls and swim in the two natural pools there. Afterwards, we will travel to Kandy and stay overnight at a hotel in the city.

Day 3 : Kandy to Colombo

On the third day of 3 days Sri Lanka tour package Zinnia, we will visit the Temple of the Tooth in the morning, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the world. The temple houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha, which is said to have been brought to Sri Lanka in the 4th century AD.

Next, you will proceed to the Royal Botanical Garden, a beautiful and well-maintained garden with a diverse collection of plants and flowers. The garden is home to over 10,000 species of plants from all over the world, including orchids, cacti, and medicinal plants.

Finally, we will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary for orphaned and injured elephants. The orphanage provides a safe home and care for over 80 elephants, and visitors can watch them being fed and bathed.

This is the end of the tour. Our driver will drop you off in Colombo or at Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
